This pair of intricately carved scroll corbels come in the form of a classical acanthus scroll and functions as a wall shelf that can elegantly display your favorite treasure, a beloved photo, or even a prized plant. Turned upside down, they can even serve as bookends. Acanthus leaves have been used in architecture since ancient times and are thought to symbolize everlasting life. This pair of acanthus corbels will make a charming addition to any room.
These mahogany corbels are hand-carved, sanded, and finished entirely by hand, using only plantation-grown Indonesian mahogany. To accentuate the grain and rich look of mahogany, each corbel is finished with a stunning satin semi-gloss finish in rich brown umber.
