How To Dress Like BossBabe For Work, Play, and Everything In Between
Fashion Dresses for Work and Latest Fashion Attire
Being the all American lady boss, Boss Babe, #BossBabe, or whatever one would like to call my serial entrepreneur self, I often have to suit myself and hang with the guys. When in male company, I make every attempt to avoid distractions. Aka. Showing cleavage or even flashing my long legs.
When finding fashion, I despise Hillary Clinton’s “She Suits”. I don’t like being matchy-matchy. I like to convey my maximalism in an artistic fashion – all while remaining classy.
On a 70 degree day in Miami, I wear things like this….
My black blazer with lace trimmed edges and with a ruffled bustle was purchased about 8 years ago in a Las Vegas Stein Mart.
My True Religion creme jeans with a gold metallic oval print were purchased around the same time from the True Religion outlet at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets, which is located next door to the World Market Center Las Vegas. I highly recommend taking a walk over to the outlets if you’re at Las Vegas Market.
The purse is a Kate Spade directors crossbody bag that I carry everywhere! This bag was purchased from the Kate Spade outlet store Las Vegas Premium Outlets too.
No matter what I wear, I must be comfortable from head-to-toe. And I must be hands-free and have a pocket to easily put my new iPhone X in.
I can’t tell you how much I love this white ruffled shirt from Forever 21. I have it in both white and black! I think I paid a whopping $29 for it, and the best part is…the ruffled part is like a tie. It can unbutton to come completely off. When I travel, this is perfect because I can often wear this shirt twice. And if I get anything on the ruffles, I can remove them! How cool is that?!? I also love the detailed triple ruffle sleeves.
My shoes are from mine and Chef Boyd’s favorite store in London called Shoe Embassy. They have several locations in and around London, plus they have reasonable shipping costs to America.
My earrings are from an awesome little boutique of well-curated fashion and design products called Antigua Collection by Silvana Isaacs. I have an interview coming up with Silvana to subscribe to go behind the scenes with her.
My necklace is one that I’m considering starting a small Etsy store so that I have a place to share my jewelry and fashion designs with you. If you like it enough, comment below, and I can ship you one. The cost is $35 per stand plus shipping.
Annie Pham at Lex Lounge in Las Vegas is the artist behind my nail art. I am the mastermind behind the creative direction. The new Gucci collections inspired these nails.
And this is my Miami hood called Wynwood Arts District. This neighborhood is filled with wall art, cool brands, and just exudes inspiration. If you haven’t already check out Casa Wynwood which is the events venue and designer/artist/entrepreneurial coworking space that Boyd and I started three years ago that is nationally sponsored by ELLE DÉCOR magazine.
