An exquisite burled wood five-drawer chest with cabriole legs that was made in Tottingham, England.
This unique piece boasts dovetailed drawers and detailed hardware bringing beauty to function. Each drawer is hand dovetailed and works nicely.
The woods are methodically placed to create a gorgeous pattern. This chest would look amazing in any room but it would be exceptional in a foyer or somewhere showcasing the front of the chest and the top. See the photos to see the patterns on both.
The back of the chest is marked in chalk “Star High RD Tottenham”. Per the original Palm Beach estate owner, this piece was handmade in England by L Marcus. She bought several matching pieces and had them shipped to her Palm Beach estate.
