Eduardo Vega, ceramist, designer, and creative genius, was one of the few Latin American artists of the 60s with the privilege of studying Fine Arts in Europe. Upon his return to Ecuador, he made his first ceramic mural “País del Dorado” (Country of El Dorado), designed for the “El Dorado” Hotel in Cuenca. In the months and years to follow, his works of art would inhabit important public and private buildings and monuments across the country.
